The Orchards Homeowner’s Association

The Meeting was called to order by Secretary, Cassandra Day at 7:00pm. In attendance of this meeting was Vice-President, Rachel Blom; Treasurer, Denise Rieckmann; Secretary, Cassandra Day and ARC Liaison, Ashley Smith.
Treasurer’s Report:
· Denise presented the Income and Expense Report for April.
· Denise presented the proposed bills for May 2017. They were as follows – City of Cheney: $103.28; Neighborhood Lawn and Tree: $810.57; Copy Junction: $158.35; Philadelphia Insurance- $289.00; AAA Sweep- 716.17. Cassandra moved we pay the bills , Ashley seconded, unanimously carried.
• Insurance has officially been transferred out of Philadelphia and to State Farm.
New Business:
• There is a spot on Meadow Glen where a pole was broken and is sticking out of the concrete. This poses a safety hazard. Ashley will look into bids to have them removed.
• It was agreed that due to all of our busy schedules, it would be best to hire out for the repainting of the fire lanes. Ashley will look into a bid to get this done.
• The board was unable to find someone to fill the secretary position so Ashley has agreed to step into this position and the ARC Liaison position will be done be the board as a whole until another board member can be found.
Meeting was called to a close by Treasurer Denise Rieckmann at 7:37pm, seconded by Ashley. Unanimously closed.
